Frédéric Dedelley

1964

Frédéric Dedelley was born in Fribourg and studied Product Design at Lausanne University of Art and Design (ECAL) and the Art Center College of Design (Europe). His training therefore combined the more conceptual European thinking with the distinctly communication-focussed American approach.

Before opening his own studio in Zurich in 1995, he gathered experience in various studios in Paris, San Francisco and Switzerland. From 2001 to 2016, he taught design at the universities of Basel and Lucerne. Nowadays, Frédéric Dedelley works in the areas of furniture, interior design and exhibition design and also pursues free artistic projects.

cologne furniture show 2020

The imm cologne 2020 is over. Our stand was well attended and our new products attracted a lot of attention. The addition of the 2-leg version to the podia table system by Moritz Schlatter was very well received. The seley family by Frédéric Dedelley has also met with great interest. In 2019, we presented the prototype of the seley armchair and there were many positive reactions. Now, in addition to the seley armchair, we have presented an entire family composed by an armchair, a bench, a stool and a bench without backrest. Almost no stand visitor could resist the temptation to sit down on one of the inviting armchairs or the comfortable seley benches.

The seley family will be expanded! In Cologne we presented a prototype of the seley chair. It was also very well received and will probably be available from April/May.
